Subject: Why can't we get an amendment for term limits
Content: Why can't we, the American people, initiate an amendment for term limits? We need to eliminate these little fieftoms created by the career politicans with all the perks, corruption and subterfuge that by its very nature sets the stage and allows for undue influence from special interests groups and lobbyists!!!These clowns in DC work for us but from where I am standing one would think it was the other way around especially with their Golden Parachute Retirement Plans, their own Health Care Plan separate from the one they are trying to ram down our throats, and I might add, a pay raise this past December, at a time when the country can not afford it and many people are unemployed and out of work looking for unemployment benefits which many states don't have funding for (The Great Stimulus Plan)! They do not have our interest at heart! They are looking to line their own pockets! Might I remind you of the fake zip codes in Virginia where stimulus money was being sent. That dog don't hunt! How stupid are we? Dumb enough to keep electing the same thieves, liars and tax cheats to office...The dishonesty is so rampant, it's like picking gnat sh*t out of pepper! Everywhere one looks or reads there is another scandal about misuse of funds or corrupt politicians. I want to puke at the thought of this cancer meandering its way through our political process (Black Panther thugs with billy sticks threatening individuals in election lines) or (union thugs making special deals behind closed doors with this administration) or( confirmations that can't be vetted because they are tax cheats who can't stand the scrutiny under the lense). A patriot once said, "We need to be viligant against anyone or thing who would attempt to take the power away from the people. You best believe it! It's time to throw the bastards out and a start anew! We couldn't do any worse especially with a government that has become so intrusive it now permeates all aspects of our lives such as business, health care, insurance companies, banking,industry,education , auto, and an attempt to take control of the internet. Where in the Constitution, which I think is still the LAW OF THE LAND, are these powers given to the National Government, notice I did not say Federal,a word which lends itself to a higher power than the forefathers envisioned! Wake up America! The time to act is now! We need to take our government (Republic) back! TERM LIMITS -it is a start!!
